Megan’s HR career started in the forestry and government sectors and she has since been with VIU, as a student and an employee, for well over a decade. Her deep knowledge allows her to advise on a variety of workplace issues and she supports her areas with stability, understanding and keen insights.

Carole is a committed HR professional with over a decade of professional experience. She uses her expertise to focus on job development and evaluation, employee training and HR systems management. Carole maintains her focus on being helpful and she is passionate about the role a progressive HR practitioner plays in supporting employee growth and development.

As Manager of Talent Acquisition, Development and Retention Strategies for VIU, Debra works to develop and manage the growth vision for the University’s employee recruitment.

Using her extensive VIU experience and a background as an award-winning corporate marketer, Debra works towards defining VIU’s employment brand and sharing the benefits of the VIU employment experience with others. Josephine has a substantial background in human resource management, work rehabilitation, and leadership, supported by a master’s in rehabilitation counselling, bachelor’s degree in psychology and human resource management, and professional designations in human resources and vocational rehabilitation.

Mark’s background in post-secondary and various levels of government has been an asset to his role here at VIU. He provides insightful HR guidance that is supported by the MBA he earned from VIU and his undergraduate degrees in Business and Psychology.
