How to login
After downloading and installing the VIU Alumni app, click on the login tile:
- Allow notifications and location services. Why? This way you won't miss in-app exclusives and alumni events near you.
- Click "log in." Enter your name and your start date at VIU.
- To find your start date, in your employment record in Unit 4, click on “Your employment” on the left, then on “Personnel information” on the right, and your start date is in the “Date from” field under “Personal Information”

Search for "VIU alumni" on your phone's app store (Google Play or Apple), then download the app. Log into the app using your name and Click "log in." Enter your name and your start date at VIU.

Unfortunately, the VIU Alumni app is only available on these two operating systems.
The VIU Alumni app is designed to work with the following operating system versions:
- Android 4.0.3 and up
- iOS 8.0 and up
Older versions of those operating systems may work, but it is not guaranteed and there is no support for them.
Anyone can download the VIU Alumni app and explore its features. However, full access to alumni benefits is reserved for VIU graduates who have completed a credential, and full access to employee perks is reserved for current regular or temporary VIU employees only.
Simply download the VIU Alumni app again from your respective provider's online store (Google Play or Apple). Use your name and VIU start date to log in and your access will be restored.
