VIU and VIUFA have now started collective bargaining
Vancouver Island University (VIU) and the Vancouver Island University Faculty Association (VIUFA) have now started collective bargaining to negotiate a new collective agreement for VIUFA. The previous collective agreement expired on March 31, 2019.
As is bargaining practice, while negotiations are underway, VIU and VIUFA commit to respecting the confidentiality of the process. VIUFA’s membership and anyone involved with VIU’s bargaining team will stay apprised of the process and discussions. When negotiations are complete and a tentative agreement reached, it will be announced to the VIU community.
