How to Nominate
Submitting a nomination to the President’s Awards for Service Excellence is as easy as filling out a webform! Just fill in the boxes below with as much information matching the award criteria as you can – when you select the award name checkbox, the criteria for that specific award appear to help guide your nomination statement.
Can't complete the entry form in one sitting? Just click the 'save draft' button at the bottom of the page to save your entry for up to 23 days. When the entry form has been completed, click the authorize button along with someone else who supports the nomination, then hit 'submit'.
When you submit a completed nomination, it is emailed to HR for the award review committee. You will not receive a copy of the completed nomination form, so please save your entry if would like to store it for future reference.
Nominations will be accepted until 4pm on June 15.
General Award Eligibility:
The nominee:
- demonstrates excellence in their area of work and pursues excellence through actions of integrity and dedication.
- demonstrates an ongoing commitment towards the success of VIU and its communities.
- is a full-time or part-time non-instructional employees across all University groups.
- has a regular or a temporary appointment, and has been employed for a minimum of twelve months.
- has not received the same award within the past five years.
