Call for nominations, by-election, Educational Standards Committee
A call for nominations is issued for the following position on Educational Standards Committee which has become vacant:
Position: Faculty of Science and Technology, faculty position
Term: Upon election to June 30, 2023
The nomination period is from January 8 - January 18, 2021. Nominations must be submitted via email as per the following procedure, by 3 pm, Monday, January 18, 2021, to Lorrie.Hayden@viu.ca .
Nomination Procedure:
Nominees - send in your email to Lorrie.Hayden@viu.ca stating your full name, position, and Faculty, with this language:
"With this email, and those of the nominators, I declare my willingness to stand for election for the Faculty of Science and Technology, faculty position, on Educational Standards Committee. If elected, I declare my expectation to completely fulfill the term of my position. I understand that my name will be published on the VIU Faculty and Staff Elections website as a candidate in this election, upon validation of this nomination."
3 Nominators - send in your email to Lorrie.Hayden@viu.ca stating your full name, position, and Faculty, with this language:
"I nominate [name of person], for the Faculty of Science and Technology, faculty position, on Educational Standards Committee." Three nominators are needed. All nominators must be eligible voters for this election (i.e., faculty members from the Faculty of Science and Technology).
